CMYK, is a parametric, sectioning Pavilion, intended to be installed at the Vivid light festifal of Sydney. In this festival there are various light installations and events with the common theme of light and interactivity. Our Pavilion will join the
festival as an information space, in the morning, and a space for parties, with DJ hosting  in the evening. In addition, we also created a rest area both for the morning
as well as for the night hours.

Hyde Park, in which it is designed to be placed, is a city center (close to points of interest and transport), but also in close proximity to
other events of the festival. Its orientation in the park has been decided taking into consideration the sun movement, so that during the day interesting shadows are created inside, due to its parameterization. Thus, both in the morning and in the evening it creates
visual interest and a pole of attraction for festival visitors as well
for the residents of the area.

Basically, it is a combination of two volumes with common origin and different rotation
and parameterization. These two volumes are created from wood frames and are parameterized at a different rate based on the spacing of the frames.

The wooden beams of the floor are joined with strings and nuts without any distance
between them, giving the feeling of a single floor, which supports the whole
construction. Inside each frame led tape is attached,
covered by a plastic cover.

INSPIRATION, MAIN IDEA
The forms that inspired our team were mainly sectioning pavilions,
(small-scale spaces created from consecutive frames,
usually wooden) We were also very interested in the relationship of the pavilion with the body.
Our goal was to create spaces of different uses (day/night) by blending 2 architectural forms.
